Lot 3521 FIVE VINTAGE DAMASCUS JAVANESE KRIS DAGGERS.
Often marketed as blades made from meteorites, these distinctive wavy bladed daggers do have interesting damascus blade surfaces. Kris were thought to have spiritual power as well as being a formidable stabbing weapon. Dating its design for over 1000 years with very distinct blades from 10" to 16" with mix of traditional carved handles. One is silver mounted with silver repose decorated scabbard body. CONDITION: overall good blades & dagger form, silver scabbard very good, 2 other wood scabbards are partial or broken. (02-26131/JS). NON-GUN. $300-500.
